Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro Corona Pequeña

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro Corona Pequeña

Smoking the Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro Corona Pequeña has resurrected my interest in the brand, and I will definitely be smoking some of the original vitolas the next time I go to the shop. This is a terrific small cigar and great for when you don't have much smoking time. There is a lot of flavor in the cigar and the second third is magnificent.

Personal Cigar Review: Crowned Heads La Coalición Gordito

Personal Cigar Review: Crowned Heads La Coalición Gordito

The Crowned Heads La Coalición Gordito started well, and if the profile from the first third had maintained itself throughout, we'd be talking about a really good cigar. As it sits, it's still a fairly good offering although the price is a bit high. I would smoke this again, but it's not something that's high on my list to revisit.

Personal Cigar Review: Herrera Estelí Miami Robusto Grande

Personal Cigar Review: Herrera Estelí Miami Robusto Grande

The Herrera Estelí Miami Robusto Grande is an awesome cigar and it has a good amount of positive traits. The blend is complex, lots of depth from start to finish and there is transitioning present as well. I think this is one of the best blends Willy has done with Drew Estate, it is the best Herrera Estelí offering in my opinion, and I love that it is made in Miami.

Team Cigar Review: Crowned Heads Buckeye Land

Team Cigar Review: Crowned Heads Buckeye Land

The Crowned Heads Buckeye Land is more straight forward in flavors (chocolate, black pepper, soil/dirt) but the number of flavors is not indicative of a bad cigar. Quite the contrary, it is a straight forward approach to a great tasting cigar. Between this cigar and the Court Reserve XVIII Robusto, it's safe to say Crowned Heads got Mexican San Andres on lock down this year.

Team Cigar Review: Pappy Van Winkle Tradition Belicoso Fino

Team Cigar Review: Pappy Van Winkle Tradition Belicoso Fino

The Pappy Van Winkle Tradition Belicoso Fino is our second vitola reviewed within this line. Looking back at the Toro format, the tasting notes of this Belicoso Fino seemed like I was smoking two different cigars. The Toro was generic in flavors whereas the Belicoso Fino was distinct and fuller in flavors. This format is no doubt the clear winner of the two.
