Having reviewed this Camacho Connecticut Robusto on my own channel earlier this year, I was happy to see my experience with this particular sample be markedly more enjoyable. Nothing mind-blowing about it, but it offered a solid Connecticut experience. Being so widely available, I’d have no problem with recommending this Connecticut offering from Camacho.
Camacho Broadleaf will be available in 20-count boxes of Robusto, Toro and Gordo and come with eye-catching bands which highlight a fearless and daring Honduran spirit. The cigars revel in the unique tastes and experiences that come with a premium cigar while showcasing Camacho's cutting-edge craftsmanship and dedication to perfection.
The release of Factory Unleashed 2 will be available 100-count rustic wooden crates of which 1,000 units will be available for our retail partners. An additional 2,500 paper wrapped bundles of 10 cigars will be reserved for eCommerce platforms. The packaging was designed with the inspiration to reflect the rustic appeal of raw wood color tones which mimic the golden wrapper of this unconventional cigar.
While the Camacho Factory Unleashed does not smoke like a Camacho, it does show some qualities of blends coming out of their Honduran factory. You can get the Honduran, Dominican, Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian tobacco flavors. Good cigar, though not quite sure it does well as a Camacho. It’s not really a Camacho, AVO or Davidoff.
Manifesting the DNA of “Where Bold is Born,” this blend roars strength and character that can barely be contained by the prized wrapper that houses it. The bold intensity and unconventional craftmanship of our state-of-the-art factory in Honduras is showcased in this multiregional blend sure to become a staple in humidors across the nation to satisfy those bold-seeking palates.
The Camacho Nicaragua Robusto showcases some of the better flavor components from Nicaraguan tobacco. Rather than overpower you with spice and pepper, the cigar offers up baking spices, creaminess and sweetness that kept me engaged throughout the review experience. I will still continue to smoke these when I have the opportunity.
I personally don't care for the flavor profile overall, it is not my cup of tea, but nonetheless it is a good cigar and I believe some would enjoy this offering of the Camacho Corojo. In my opinion, just stick with the classic Camacho Corojo over this Camacho Distillery Edition Corojo Toro.
Camacho Nicaragua is a distinctly complex blend that makes for a bold and unforgettable taste experience. The blend is well-balanced and filled with spicy, earthy and oaky flavors that define tobacco from this region, complemented by notes of pepper in the retrohale and a subtle sweetness. A smoke that delivers full-frontal, all-out flavor that rewards you at every draw.
The Camacho Distillery Edition Connecticut Toro is a superior blend to the original Camacho Connecticut. The tobacco that was aged in barrels brought more life to the cigar and added some complexity to the overall blend. I was pleasantly surprised by the blend and would definitely pick these up again in the future.
Camacho Cigars will celebrate its bold heritage with two powerful blends, beginning with the highly-acclaimed Liberty Series which features one of the most versatile and multi-dimensioned blends in the series. Following will be an exciting and bold, yet balanced Camacho Nicaragua that is forged in the fiery volcanic soil of Nicaragua.
