The El Artista Big Papi Firecracker had an average and very linear flavor profile throughout, which could be expected with its short length. To me, this size doesn't present the best of what the line can offer and I'd prefer one of the regular production vitolas when it comes to this line. Fun to smoke it in this size, but I don't see myself returning.

I would call this a smooth, but at the same time, semi-rustic cigar. Although I would smoke the El Artista The Slugger by Big Papi again, I am curious what the cigar would taste like with greater wrapper influence and less filler influence. If I'm in for 2 to 3 hours of smoking, I'd do it again. But for mouthfeel, can we move out of the parejo head and give it a tapered head?

Usually, when a cigar is attached to a celebrity or athlete, the first thing people think about is that it's a gimmick. That isn't the case with this cigar as it carries a nice profile and smoking experience. I could definitely see myself sitting down with this cigar to enjoy an evening baseball game during the summer.
