Perfecto

Team Cigar Review: Napa Cigar Society Perfecto

Team Cigar Review: Napa Cigar Society Perfecto

The Napa Cigar Society Perfecto was an overall good cigar. The cigar was highly earthy, providing rich soil. In combination with the earthiness were red pepper spice and a gentle sweet and creamy nuttiness. Although most of the cigar was enjoyable, I'm unsure it is $16 enjoyable. As such, this is a grab a couple to try recommendation.

Team Cigar Review: Powstanie Wojtek

Team Cigar Review: Powstanie Wojtek

The Powstanie Wojtek had a pretty simple flavor profile with not much transition, but even so, it did it well. While the price is a bit high for a cigar of this size, it provided a longer than expected smoking time, so it does provide value with the flavor delivery and smoking length. I'd be happy to smoke more of these and would have no problem recommending that others give this a try.

Personal Cigar Review: JFR Lunatic Loco El Gran Loco

Personal Cigar Review: JFR Lunatic Loco El Gran Loco

The JFR Lunatic Loco El Gran Loco didn't have a lot of complexity or beautiful transitioning and depth throughout, but it was a solid cigar. If you look at how they blended for a cigar of this nature, they did a great job.

Team Cigar Review: Providencia Trinitas

Team Cigar Review: Providencia Trinitas

The Providencia Trinitas delivers rich San Andres chocolate notes, with flavors of cedar, minerality and baking spices. I found the first and second thirds delivered consistent flavors with the final third being average. The burn was very good, but the draw did struggle for some time before finally opening up.

Team Cigar Review: La Aurora Preferidos 1903 Edition Diamond No. 2 Tubos

Team Cigar Review: La Aurora Preferidos 1903 Edition Diamond No. 2 Tubos

The La Aurora Preferidos 1903 Edition Diamond No. 2 Tubos has an enjoyable combination of spices, cedar, sweet malts, chocolate, pepper, barbecue and earth. The construction is flawless, and the overall cigar experience is a good one. The first and second thirds were the highlight of the cigar, with the flavor complexity falling in the last third.

Team Cigar Review: Señorial 65th Anniversary

Team Cigar Review: Señorial 65th Anniversary

I was a fan of the Señorial 65th Anniversary when it first came out five years ago and I have enjoyed them over the years as well. In some ways, the cigar does not seem to age to me. It is one of those cigars that smokes very similar to how it did five years ago. I keep thinking the cigar is going to be drastically different in another six months, but it isn't.

Personal Cigar Review: Southern Draw Kudzu 2018 Perfecto

Personal Cigar Review: Southern Draw Kudzu 2018 Perfecto

The Southern Draw Kudzu 2018 Perfecto has a fairly straight forward flavor profile of cedar, cream and spice which moved to a general wood note and gained some mustiness. For fans of the brand, this is another cigar they'll likely enjoy.

Team Cigar Review: AVO 22

Team Cigar Review: AVO 22

While I'd gladly smoke more, it probably isn't something I'd go out of my way to smoke again which is a bit of an odd conclusion based on how the cigar scored for me. As an anniversary cigar for the brand, I think it is a good representation of the core lines and what the brand was built on.
