Team Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime The Sergeant

Team Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime The Sergeant

To my surprise, the A.C.E. Prime The Sergeant was a pretty well balanced cigar. After reading that it's corojo, I expected more spice, but perhaps it got blended out from the large 58 ring gauge. Sweetness and creaminess off toasted mixed nuts, wood earthiness off cedar, and soft bread. This is the type of profile that I can sit back and smoke multiples of in a day. Happy to smoke more.

Personal Cigar Review: Pichardo Reserva Familiar Connecticut

Personal Cigar Review: Pichardo Reserva Familiar Connecticut

The Pichardo Reserva Familiar Connecticut was plagued by the bitter burning paper, and the other flavor components that moved in and out could never rectify the situation. This cigar showed off the negative aspects of what a Connecticut shade blend can provide and I can't really see myself coming back to it.

Team Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime Fiat Lux Insight

Team Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime Fiat Lux Insight

The A.C.E. Prime Fiat Lux Insight was a slimmer ring gauge packed tight with flavors. The flavor in itself was full, giving a spicy dose of oily red pepper spice, followed by leather, minerals and thick creaminess off dried nuts. The one thing I noticed is, you have to watch the intensity of draws. Draw too fast, and you'll quickly get unwanted char and bitterness. Great showing, I'll be back for more.

Personal Cigar Review: Pichardo Reserva Familiar Habano

Personal Cigar Review: Pichardo Reserva Familiar Habano

The Pichardo Reserva Familiar Habano had a nice start, but as the dry earth joined in the second third and dominated, it knocked things down to average and maintained that level of enjoyment the rest of the way. With the flavor experience and the price point, this cigar isn’t something I’d see myself coming back too that frequently.

Team Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime Luciano The Traveler

The A.C.E. Prime Luciano The Traveler had a nice start, but dropped down to average in the second third and maintained that level of enjoyment the rest of the way. The price point for this cigar is quite high and with the flavor experience I had, I'm not sure I see myself coming back to this one.

Cigar News: ACE Prime The Sergeant Announced as PCA 2021 Exclusive

The Sergeant is a medium-full body blend with deep flavor notes. Due to its balanced acidity all the complexity is slowly revealed by its potent long-aged ligeros from Esteli, Visos from Jalapa and Pueblo Nuevo. A double Connecticut binder is used and it is wrapped by a natural rosado Corojo 99 (Ecuador).

Team Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Adrián González El Titán

Despite an extremely resistant draw, the A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Adrián González El Titán delivered a balanced, engaging and overall enjoyable flavor profile through the first and second thirds. Overall strength hovered at medium levels throughout, with none of the flavors too intense on the palate.
