Team Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime Luciano The Traveler

The A.C.E. Prime Luciano The Traveler had a nice start, but dropped down to average in the second third and maintained that level of enjoyment the rest of the way. The price point for this cigar is quite high and with the flavor experience I had, I'm not sure I see myself coming back to this one.

Cigar News: ACE Prime Fiat Lux Announced

Fiat Lux itself is a blend that generates deliberation. The construction of the cigar provokes an inevitable exploration of flavors as it ignites the taste buds for the sake of discovery. Enlightenment is a natural, mindful consequence of its physical attributes.

Cigar News: ACE Prime The Sergeant Announced as PCA 2021 Exclusive

The Sergeant is a medium-full body blend with deep flavor notes. Due to its balanced acidity all the complexity is slowly revealed by its potent long-aged ligeros from Esteli, Visos from Jalapa and Pueblo Nuevo. A double Connecticut binder is used and it is wrapped by a natural rosado Corojo 99 (Ecuador).

Team Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Adrián González El Titán

Despite an extremely resistant draw, the A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Adrián González El Titán delivered a balanced, engaging and overall enjoyable flavor profile through the first and second thirds. Overall strength hovered at medium levels throughout, with none of the flavors too intense on the palate.

Personal Cigar Review: Pichardo Clasico

Personal Cigar Review: Pichardo Clasico

The Pichardo Clasico had a fairly average flavor profile and experience level throughout. There were a core set of flavors with some minimal transitions. The strength was a bit sneaky, as I was feeling it a bit in the final third. The price point is approachable, so it's well worth a try, I'm just note sure how often I see myself coming back to it though.

Personal Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Dominique Wilkins

The A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Dominique Wilkins had a nice start, but once the dry earth joined in the second third, it put a bit of a damper on things and the experience was just average the rest of the way. The price point is fairly high on this cigar, but it did provide a lengthy smoking time of about three and a half hours, so there's some slight value there.

Team Cigar Review: Pichardo Reserva Familiar San Andrés

Team Cigar Review: Pichardo Reserva Familiar San Andrés

The Pichardo Reserva Familiar San Andrés provided a fairly consistent San Andres experience for most of the cigar review. A balanced medley of flavors that included cedar, baking spices, chocolate, cream, citrus and earth. I look forward to reviewing more cigars from Pichardo in the future.

Personal Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Tiago Splitter Robusto

Personal Cigar Review: A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Tiago Splitter Robusto

The A.C.E. Prime M.X.S. Signature Tiago Splitter Robusto had a nice start but as the toast level increased and the vegetal note joined, it became average and maintained that level the rest of the way. I might smoke this again, but it's not something that I'll be in a hurry to do so. For fans of candelas, I would say give this a try as it performs very similarly.
