Southern Draw Cigars has been very busy at Tabacalera Fernandez and announced today that they released a total of 14 new extensions to their current lines.
A technically great performing cigar with some good complexity build ups and transitions (minus the last third). But given the 100 minutes of smoking time for this "last call," I will light this one up during half time.
I enjoyed both vitolas equally. Both will pair great with the conventional Connecticut cigar pairing of coffee. Both will also stand well by itself, as the cigars provide good depth of flavors, body and finish for any time of the day. Robert Holt’s years in the making has paid off well especially for us flavor forward cigar lovers.
Definitely approachable to any smoker and I would highly recommend that you pick some up. Not that it factors into the scoring, but the price is right and the smoke time is easy to fit in when you may be short on time or ideal weather conditions. Go get some.
Given the new wave of semi-recently released Connecticut cigars, the Southern Draw is a strong contender amongst the competition. There is a great interplay of sweetness and spice that can be enjoyed in the morning, day time or even night time.
