Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata

Team Cigar Review: Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata

While I liked the overall flavors centered around leather, cocoa, dried red pepper spice, cedar and faint anise, I didn't like how drying the mouthfeel was. And by the time the cigar got to the final third where the cedar got bitter, it was salt added to the wound. As such, this Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata is a pass for me.

Cohiba Serie M Reserva Azul

Team Cigar Review: Cohiba Serie M Reserva Azul

The Cohiba Serie M Reserva Azul is a lovely cigar and a fantastic addition to the Serie M portfolio. The Dominican Corojo wrapper balances out the Nicaraguan tobacco, and produces a nice flavor profile of warm spices, leather, tobacco and wood. The blend really takes the brand in a different direction while also delivering a premium cigar experience. It has that premium Dominican Cohiba quality, which is what the brand needs. It’s a cigar that smokes great right now but will also age wonderfully.

Team Cigar Review: Cohiba Serie M Corona Gorda

Team Cigar Review: Cohiba Serie M

The Cohiba Serie M is the Cohiba I have been seeking for 10 plus years. This is almost a continuation of the old-school, and good La Palina Goldie offerings, but with a twist. The cigar delivered those amazing El Titan flavors, and it showed beautiful harmony between Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco. There was complexity, depth and transitioning throughout. Packaging was amazing. Great cigar!
