The Crowned Heads Mil Días Corona Gorda was not like any other Crowned Heads I've smoked in the past. It brought a unique combination of graham cracker and herbal notes, all well balanced under the medium strength mark. This isn't a cigar I would reach for all the time, but given the interesting and unique combination of flavors, I would smoke this when I was looking for a change of pace.

Crowned Heads is proud to announce the first limited edition release under the highly sought­ after Mil Días brand, i.e., Mil Días Mareva EL XX (2020). The cigar utilizes the original Mil Días blend, and is being crafted in the traditional Cuban Mareva vitola (5 1/8" x 42). Production will be limited to a total of 1,000 {30-count) cabinet style boxes.

Cigar News: Crowned Heads and Tabacalera Pichardo Collaborate on Mil Días

Mil Días translates to ‘one-thousand days,’ and is a reference to the three-year window of time it required to bring the project from intention to fruition, and ultimately, to completion. The project began in the Summer of 2017 when Don Eradio Pichardo and Luciano Meirelles presented blend samples to Jon Huber of Crowned Heads at the IPCPR Trade Show.
