Macanudo Gold Label 2025 Torpedo

Personal Cigar Review: Macanudo Gold Label 2025 Torpedo

The Macanudo Gold Label 2025 Torpedo had an average flavor profile throughout, focused around toasted cedar and earth. The construction paper didn't help or hurt the profile. Overall, just an average offering. It smokes smooth and has strength below medium, so a cigar that anyone could enjoy, it just isn't something that I'd be eager to come back to.

Macanudo Emissary France Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Macanudo Emissary France Robusto

The Macanudo Emissary France Robusto offers a visually distinctive presentation and a well-behaved construction, backed by a very good burn and a moderately firm draw that eased up with time. Overall, it’s a solid offering with a balanced start and a consistent, if subdued, finish, ideal for those who appreciate a measured evolution and traditional earth-forward flavors.

Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll No. 3

Personal Cigar Review: Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll No. 3

The Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll No. 3 had an average flavor profile throughout, focused around toasted oak, earth and black pepper. Nothing that really stood out about the cigar. I never smoked the first two cigars in the series, so I don't have a basis for comparison, but as it sits, this isn't really a cigar I'd return to.

Macanudo Vintage Maduro 2013 Robusto

Personal Cigar Review: Macanudo Vintage Maduro 2013 Robusto

The Macanudo Vintage Maduro 2013 Robusto had a promising start with balanced and restrained flavors in the first third. The second third almost reached the same level of complexity but unfortunately fell just short. I found the last third to be fairly flat compared to the rest of the cigar. Overall, I found the Macanudo Vintage Maduro 2013 Robusto to be quite pleasant to review, and despite the overall score I think it's something I could see myself occasionally smoking.

Macanudo Emissary España Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Macanudo Emissary España Robusto

The Macanudo Emissary España Robusto was one of the great surprises at the 2024 PCA in Las Vegas. Having smoked a show sample, I was eagerly awaiting my opportunity to review the released cigar. I am not disappointed, with restrained and balanced flavors throughout, this is a solid release in the Macanudo portfolio. I would happily smoke another Macanudo Emissary España Robusto again.

Macanudo Gold Label Golden Nugget

Personal Cigar Review: Macanudo Gold Label Golden Nugget

The Macanudo Gold Label Golden Nugget had an average flavor profile throughout. Pretty typical Connecticut shade profile with the light bitterness mixed in. This cigar isn't my preferred format, and in combination with the flavor profile I experienced, not something I'd see myself really coming back to.

Team Cigar Review: Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade Toro

Team Cigar Review: Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade Toro

The Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade Toro was a fun cigar with a nice flavor profile. Not overly complex, it was balanced throughout. I loved the coffee, cream and lemongrass qualities throughout. A solid medium in strength and body, it is a cigar that many could enjoy at any time of day. Job well done!

Personal Cigar Review: M by Macanudo Toro

Personal Cigar Review: M by Macanudo Toro

While the M by Macanudo Toro won't appeal to traditional premium cigar smokers, it definitely could to those that like the flavored stuff. If this cigar provided more of the advertised flavor in the smoking experience, I could see going back to it, but with the profile I experienced, I don't have any interest in revisiting it.
