Strength was definitely a focus on this cigar and for those that like fuller strength with some darker flavors, this 601 La Bomba The Wick Maduro delivers it. The burn issues that plagued the cigar is really what I'll remember, but in regards to the flavor profile, it just didn't bring enough to keep my interest.
The 601 La Bomba The Wick Habano was an enjoyable, full strength and full bodied experience. The intense pepper and spice was balanced with chocolate and sweetness, along with earth accents. I really enjoyed the 601 La Bomba The Wick Habano despite the distractions of re-lighting. I wonder how well it would have performed if that wouldn't have been necessary, but I would happily smoke it again.
In a market where there is quite a lack of thin ring gauge cigars (especially Connecticut broadleaf ones), this one provides enough uniqueness that warrants a must try.
