Burlington, N.C.– Romeo y Julieta Crafted by Plasencia is the latest addition to the highly successful Crafted By Series, which was first launched over two years ago. This recent release promises to continue the success created by its predecessors as it will make its IPCPR Trade Show debut later this month.
“We expect this release to be a big hit with adult cigar smokers,” said David Joyce, director of wholesale operations for Santa Clara. “It is specially crafted for Santa Clara by the legendary Plasencia family using one of the most famous brand names in the world – Romeo y Julieta.”
The Romeo y Julieta Crafted by Plasencia is a rich, earthy and complex full- bodied box-pressed cigar and offers amazing potential turn rates and fantastic profit margins for retailers, he said.
Romeo y Julieta has been the best-selling Cuban heritage brand in the marketplace for many years, which is why Santa Clara was excited to work with Altadis U.S.A. and the Plasencia Family to create this amazing cigar.
The Plasencia Family is one of the largest growers of tobacco in Nicaragua, which allowed Santa Clara to choose from some of the best tobacos in the world to make this great cigar.
The Romeo y Julieta Crafted by Plasencia features a Nicaraguna puro blend with a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano binder, and Nicaraguan filler. With an MSRP of $8.00 – $9.00 per cigar, the Romeo y Julieta Crafted by Plasencia will provide adult consumers with a great Nicaraguan puro at an affordable price-point. This newest release is ready to ship immediately and is available in the following three sizes: Robusto, Toro and Piramide.
“We’re confident the Romeo y Julieta Crafted by Plasencia will once again highlight Santa Clara’s success in collaborating with great cigar makers to craft cigars that make a difference in your sales,” Joyce said.
