This edition of Byron humidors is limited to one size in each blend, with only 5,000 cigars rolled for each century; the Byron cigar line has a century interpretation for any cigar enthusiast. The numbered humidors are limited to 200 of each Byron 19th Century Grand Poemas, 20th Century Habaneros and 21st Century Elegantes, standing out from their series as they are only available once a year in numbered humidors.

In recognition of these 25 years, Nelson created two Limited Edition humidors each featuring 25 unique cigars. The Atabey humidor will be accompanied by the Misticos which has more than 7 years of post-roll age from the 2013 vintage and has long been Jeff’s favorite vitola. The Byron humidor will feature the Byron Venecianos (Torpedo) with a rich, dark Ecuadorian wrapper that will be exclusive to Corona Cigar Co.

United Cigars began release of the 2013 vintage of the Byron 19th Century Grand Poemas on Friday. Allocations of the Grand Poemas were made as only 200 boxes were produced with this unique tobacco. All 200 boxes are offered in humidors designed by Nelson Alfonso of Selected Tobacco.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience with the Byron Serie Siglo XXI Aristócratas. For fans of softer and more subtle notes (think a more traditional Connecticut shade or Cuban cigar), this will be a good fit. The only gripe I have is, for such a long (3 hour) smoking time, there weren't enough transitions and build ups as I'd like it to have.
