The AVO Regional North Edition provides a nuanced, balanced and engaging cigar experience for at least two thirds, and a pleasant smoking experience for the last. The natural comparison here is going to be to the South Edition, and I gravitate towards the North Edition. One could say it's just a bit more refined.
The AVO Regional South Edition was an enjoyable cigar through the first and second thirds with the profile becoming unbalanced through the last third. The profile was markedly different than the North Edition, and did suffer from some minor burn issues.

The AVO Classic Maduro No. 2, while not new, is a great re-release for 2020. The blend is balanced and approachable. Any cigar smoker would enjoy it, it just depends on the time of day. This is a morning and evening maduro in my opinion and a great Connecticut Broadleaf offering from AVO. I loved the cocoa, coffee, cream and cereal notes.
The AVO Improvisation LE 2020 has a really nice start, delivering some lovely cream, earth, coffee and raisin notes, but the changes that take place in the second and final thirds really take away from the beginning. Not a bad release, but far from the best AVO and not limited edition quality in my opinion.
AVO Cigars will kick-off the year by changing the tempo with three memorable product offerings that are focused on elevating the moment for and with friends. The blends are inspired by uplifting experiences that entice and excite.
The AVO Improvisation LE19 starts out complex and interesting in the first third, but declines in balance and intensity as the cigar progresses. I get the impression this cigar might balance out the middle and last third given some time to rest.

If you're a fan of the Fogata line and want a quick smoke, this might be right up your alley, but for me, I'd prefer a little bit longer vitola to really see what this blend can do.
