Davidoff Puro Dominicano Perfecto

Team Cigar Review: Davidoff Puro Dominicano Perfecto

This Davidoff Puro Dominicano Perfecto has good and not so good aspects. On one hand, I can view this as a smooth and refined smoking experience. On the other hand, I can view this as being too smooth where the flavors don't pop enough and isn't intricate enough. I overall view it the latter after smoking this singular cigar for review. But I do think it warrants going back to it a few times to make a more concrete answer.

Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata

Team Cigar Review: Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata

While I liked the overall flavors centered around leather, cocoa, dried red pepper spice, cedar and faint anise, I didn't like how drying the mouthfeel was. And by the time the cigar got to the final third where the cedar got bitter, it was salt added to the wound. As such, this Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata is a pass for me.

Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut Epicure

Personal Cigar Review: Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut Epicure

The Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut Epicure had an average flavor profile throughout, focused around the toasted cedar and oak, earth and cardboard. This is one of those "your Grandfathers Connecticut's" in regards to the classic flavor profile that's a bit dry with the cardboard/paper note to it. Not really the flavor profile I go for and not a cigar I'd really see myself returning to.

Fratello Puro Collection 1821 Dominican Republic

Team Cigar Review: Fratello Puro Collection 1821 Dominican Republic

The first third of the Fratello Puro Collection 1821 Dominican Republic was honestly pretty incredible. So good that it was nearing the "very good" score with flavors that were so full and distinct. But the second third (and final third) created a big downfall in enjoyment, shaving off the best parts of the first third. What a tease of a cigar.

El Titan de Bronze Nicaragua Robusto

Team Cigar Review: El Titan de Bronze Nicaragua Robusto

I immensely enjoyed the robust and rustic nature of the El Titan de Bronze Nicaragua Robusto. Although rustic in minerals, meatiness and black pepper spice, the profile also dials in a strong showing of softness of sweet and creaminess in roasted nuts and cafe au lait. All matched well with a fitting medium-full strength profile. This one is a keeper for sure.

Tatuaje Escasos H

Personal Cigar Review: Tatuaje Escasos H

The Tatuaje Escasos H had an average flavor profile throughout, focused around toasted cedar and dry earth. While the flavor profile was smooth with lower strength, the dry earth kind of dampened the other flavors, which I believe didn't allow it to shine as it could have. Not a cigar that really excites me and not something I'd likely to return to.

Matilde Limited Exposure No. 3 Toro

Team Cigar Review: Matilde Limited Exposure No. 3 Toro

The Matilde Limited Exposure No. 3 Toro has a good flavor profile throughout the cigar with a nice strength and body level. There is a nice bit of complexity and depth, and while the blend may not speak to all, it’s a good cigar. I would love to see it in other vitolas.

Micallef White Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Micallef White Robusto

The Micallef White Robusto is a decent smoke. Yes, I would smoke it again, but it’s not something I would go crazy over or really seek out to keep in my humidors. The flavor profile is consistent from beginning to end, just enough complexity to keep my interest, and has amazing construction and burn. Honestly, with a cigar like this, it comes down to the price. If it’s somewhat affordable, I would approach this cigar in the future.

Arturo Fuente Casa Cuba Doble Tres

Personal Cigar Review: Arturo Fuente Casa Cuba Doble Tres

Overall, the Arturo Fuente Casa Cuba Doble Tres had a fairly average flavor profile, focused around heavily toasted cedar, earth and black pepper. The burn was a big detractor and I have to assume it hindered the flavor profile at some level. I'd be open to coming back to this for a better burning example to see what the flavor profile is really like, but this just wasn't a great experience.

Davidoff Corona Cigar Exclusive 2026 Belicoso

Team Cigar Review: Davidoff Corona Cigar Exclusive 2026 Belicoso

The Davidoff Corona Cigar Exclusive 2026 Belicoso is a good cigar. I would like a little more complexity and depth to my cigar, but this is a good smoke. It’s a good Connecticut with a solid profile and amazing construction. It’s hard to find any true faults with this cigar.
