The Pappy Van Winkle Tradition will begin shipping in October in coordination with when Old Rip Van Winkle releases their annual batch of the highly sought-after Bourbon and Rye.
The Pappy Van Winkle Tradition Belicoso Fino is our second vitola reviewed within this line. Looking back at the Toro format, the tasting notes of this Belicoso Fino seemed like I was smoking two different cigars. The Toro was generic in flavors whereas the Belicoso Fino was distinct and fuller in flavors. This format is no doubt the clear winner of the two.
The cigar started off with a nice wood and spice combination. As things progressed it settled into a standard woody profile with some char and alternated between this and a slightly green wood note.
