This Leaf by Oscar Broadleaf Limited Edition 2025 is a quality Connecticut Broadleaf and is worthy of the limited edition marking. There's nothing bad about the flavor profile as it gave me a nice array of sweetness, spice and rich earthiness. The only thing that I wish for is a consistent up tick in the body to further highlight the earthiness of the cigar. Will smoke this again for sure.
This Oscar Valladares The Oscar Connecticut Robusto was a great Connecticut blend. Balanced with a great core flavor profile from start to finish. Not overly complex, or showing a lot of transitioning, but this is an affordable cigar. The construction was perfect as well, so this was an easy and effortless smoke. No complaints. Nice creamy, earth, wood and sweet spice flavor profile.
I liked the Oscar Valladares Super Fly Connecticut. This is a great Honduran Connecticut wrapper. I thought the cigar was released in a great size and it delivered a solid flavor profile with transitioning taking place throughout. It had a nice body and strength level, construction was great, and priced really well. I would definitely come back to these and recommend them to many.
The Oscar Valladares Wild Hunter Maduro started out as an average experience in the first third that unfortunately became a subpar experience through the second and last third. The initial flavors of sweet nuttiness and cedar were overrun by toasted earth, char, bitterness, and at times, tannic cedar. Overall, a subpar experience.
Overall, I enjoyed the Oscar Valladares Super Fly Super Corona. The packaging was a little over the top, but at the same time perfect for the name of the cigar. The blend itself backed up the packaging and overall presentation of the cigar, and that is what is important.
In the case of the 2012 by Oscar Barber Pole, it tastes a lot more Mexican San Andres than Candela. Flavors of caramel, drying wood, leather, minerals and nuts were the main components of this cigar. I overall enjoyed the cigar's journey of sweetness to earthiness and would happily smoke this again.
The offering will be an extension to the 2012 by Oscar line and features the rare combination of a candela wrapper being used in a barber-pole offering in a box-pressed format.
