I find the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sobremesa Short Churchill to be a more robust cigar in comparison to the other Sobremesa vitolas. More robust in the sense of increased spice and strength levels. The hype surrounding this one is warranted.
The Crema has such full and distinctive flavors that were well nuanced and balanced. In the recent(ish) wave of Connecticut Shades, I highly recommend consumers to navigate their way to this one.
In my opinion, an infused cigars purpose is to present flavors that are appealing to people that don't enjoy the flavors that a non-infused cigar would provide. In this case, the only flavors like that were the minty/menthol flavor and I don't personally care for that in a cigar.
I especially enjoyed the consistent mixture of wood and pepper. Robert Holt's time away from this year's IPCPR proved fruitful in the Code Duello Limitada 2016 Firethorn.
For those that were fans of the original Sopranos and for those that like a nice Brazilian Mata Fina wrapped cigar, it's easily approachable and some may find this an ideal daily smoke.
The cigar kept with a core set of flavors and not really any transitions, but that's OK. I would definitely give this another whirl.
As the name suggests there is a Day of the Dead theme, this cigar is a tribute to those no longer with us.
I highly recommend this cigar to all as this is one of the most wonderfully balanced, rich and bold cigars I have had this year.
