Aganorsa Leaf dares to push the conventional boundaries of possibility when it comes to large cigar vitolas and is releasing a gigantic 10 x 100 Belicoso Maduro under the Lunatic brand at the PCA tradeshow in Las Vegas this July.
Aganorsa Leaf has two new vitolas of Lunatic Maduro that will be featured at the Tobacco Products Expo (TPE) taking place February 22-24 in Las Vegas. The Lunatic Maduro will now be available in 7 x 70 and 6.5 x 60.
This isn't what I was expecting out of Aganorsa Corojo '99. Being heavily spice and mineral driven, I got little or no soft notes of bread, nuts and even citrus, which is what I tend to expect. The profile was leaning too much into being sharp and charred, which ultimately made the Aganorsa Leaf Lunatic Torch Visionaries an overall average experience.
Lunatic Torch will be available in May for Aganorsa Select accounts and then open to all at PCA in three vitolas: Visionaries (6.5 x 52), Dreamlands (6.5 x 60), and Mad Folk (4.75 x 70). All are packaged in boxes of ten cigars.
The JFR Lunatic Loco El Gran Loco didn't have a lot of complexity or beautiful transitioning and depth throughout, but it was a solid cigar. If you look at how they blended for a cigar of this nature, they did a great job.
