Drew Estate Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Papas Fritas

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Papas Fritas

This Drew Estate Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Papas Fritas is a fun smoke that delivers a ton for what it is and how cheap it is. I loved the profile though, I can see some not caring for it, and I think the vitola is great. It is small enough to deliver the flavors of this blend and not have it become too much or monotonous. I have smoked a handful of these, and they are all great.

Personal Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Velvet Rat

Personal Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Velvet Rat

Overall, the Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Velvet Rat started nicely, but became average by the second third as the flavor profile was pretty basic. This cigar doesn't have the vibrance it once did, which is understandable due to its age. If you have some of these, smoke them, as time isn't going to make them any better.

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada H99 Toro

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada H99 Toro

I enjoyed the Drew Estate Liga Privada H99 Toro because of the flavors delivered, but I don't think that this is a cigar for a lot of smokers. This is more fruity and lighter. When you think of wines that are very berry heavy or jammy, Malbec comes to mind, but this is more of a very strawberry Rosé. I know that sounds crazy, but that is the best way for me to describe the smoking experience. Funky smoke.

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Year of the Ox 2021

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Year of the Ox 2021

Relatively speaking for a Connecticut broadleaf, the Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Year of the Ox 2021 was on the lighter side. It didn't quite have the highly earthy, viscous and chocolate overlays. Instead, it smoked lighter, especially in terms of earthiness and strength. To me, there's nothing wrong with that and it's a good showing, especially for the Chinese market. A cigar well made to celebrate the Year of the Ox.

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Bauhaus

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Bauhaus

The Drew Estate Liga Privada Único Serie Bauhaus is a nice addition to the Unico Serie and for fans of the series, would definitely be worth trying to acquire some from the European market if you can track them down. I'd have no problem smoking more of these, likely in the evening after a nice meal and I could see it pairing well with a nice brown spirit of your choosing.

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Liga Privada Unico Year of the Rat 2020

I never had the chance to smoke the original Year of the Rat, but honestly it doesn't really matter because this Drew Estate Liga Privada Unico Year of the Rat 2020 was great. Therefore, I don't feel like I necessarily missed out on the original. The want to chain smoke these is high and I look forward to the next one.
