Camacho Cigars will celebrate its bold heritage with two powerful blends, beginning with the highly-acclaimed Liberty Series which features one of the most versatile and multi-dimensioned blends in the series. Following will be an exciting and bold, yet balanced Camacho Nicaragua that is forged in the fiery volcanic soil of Nicaragua.
I was not impressed with the Camacho Liberty 2005 Throwback. It lacked a flavor profile that showed balance and diversity. While there was some transitioning from when the ring gauge increased and decreased, it did not deliver a complex flavor profile that could have flourished with the changes of the ring gauge from start to finish.
The Camacho Liberty 2005 blend makes its triumphant return in its original 11/18 Figurado format. The robust and complex smoke is dressed in a thick and oily Honduran Maduro wrapper with the binder and fillers composed of only hand-selected, top priming leaves of our Original Corojo tobacco.
The mystery of a coffin...not knowing what you'll find inside...the hype of the Liberty line. Let's face it, I was truly looking forward to smoking this one. The 2005 I enjoyed a couple of years ago was pretty darn good.
