Espinosa Premium Cigars is proud to announce the release of the fifth installment of its “Las 6 Provincias Series”, ZDT. ZDT is an acronym for “Zona de Tabaco.” This year’s iteration highlights the island nation’s most recognized tobacco growing region, Pinar del Rio.

The Espinosa Las 6 Provincias CMW had cemented itself as my favorite Las 6 Provincias release by the end of the first third. Rich, complex and intense, the cigar is full bodied and full strength through the majority of the review, stepping down to medium at a few points in the second third to allow my palate to recover. I'll be seeking out a box of the Espinosa Las 6 Provincias CMW, so it's reasonable to say I'll be looking forward to smoking this again.

The Espinosa Las 6 Provincias LV delivered consistently balanced flavors through the first and second thirds, with the last third still being pleasant but for me lacking the same complexity level to engage my interest. I think the latest iteration of the Las 6 Provincias series might be the best or second best of the series so far, and I look forward to seeing how 2023 stacks up.

The Espinosa Las 6 Provincias MTZ was a good smoking experience with a wide range of flavors from pepper, sweet hay, graham cracker, powdered cocoa, citrus, earth, toasted barbecue, malty sweetness, baking spices, cedar and honey sweetness. The profile is well balanced at medium strength throughout.

The Espinosa Las 6 Provincias LHB is yet another example of the stronger, spicier side of Espinosa's offerings. For me, this is a post (big) dinner smoke as the spice would be better complimented after such. If you enjoy the "typical" Espinosa offering, you will no doubt enjoy this.
