The La Gloria Cubana Gloriosos Toro provided an average smoking experience with a profile focused on dry wood, musty sweet tobacco, earth and occasional sweet or chocolate accents. The retrohale offered some complexity with creamy sweet tobacco early on, later bringing milk chocolate, herbal notes and pepper. This is a cigar where the flawless mechanics outshined the flavor performance.
The La Gloria Cubana Gran Legado had an average flavor profile throughout, focused around the toasted oak, earth and black pepper. The variations of chocolate were a nice touch, but didn't do enough to elevate the profile. The strength was a bit sneaky, but it's to be expected with a cigar of this size and blend. Overall, not a cigar I'd see myself coming back to, but you do get an immense smoking time, so there is some value there.
The La Gloria Cubana Serie S Maduro Robusto Gordo had a promising start in the first third, with interesting flavor combinations that kept me engaged. As the cigar continued, each third seemed to step down in balance and flavor combinations leading to a disappointing last third. I'm glad I had the opportunity to review the La Gloria Cubana Serie S Maduro Robusto Gordo, but based on the flavor delivery, this isn't something I"d return to.

Overall, the flavor profile of the La Gloria Cubana Criollo de Oro Toro was pretty boring. A typical profile from the brand that didn't bring anything unique with the hybrid wrapper. The price point isn't anything crazy, but not something that I think brings value. Not a cigar I'd see myself coming back to.

The La Gloria Cubana Spirit of the Lady Toro is a brand new portfolio spin off, the same mediocre cigar. This flavor profile is quintessential to how I feel about most cigars from General (especially blended by in house blenders); highly earthy, unbalanced and a bit spiky in nature. No offense to their current blending team(s), as I'm sure the marketing strength of the cigar brands are strong, but I just want better blends.
