Montecristo FSG Toro

Team Cigar Review: Montecristo FSG Toro

I liked the Montecristo FSG Toro. I found it to be a balanced cigar with an enjoyable flavor profile. A profile to my liking at least. It delivered that FSG quality, but it was not too much with strength. The dry earth and mineral spices were really enjoyable throughout. Definitely a cigar I would come back to in the future.

Personal Cigar Review: Davidoff Tampa FSG

Personal Cigar Review: Davidoff Tampa FSG

The Davidoff Tampa FSG had a nice start with the flavor components jockeying for position. By the second third, the experience became average and maintained that level the rest of the way. I really enjoy trying different blends that utilize the FSG tobacco. It's not my favorite blend utilizing the tobacco, but it was unique.

Team Cigar Review: Florida Sun Grown Limited Edition Trunk-Pressed Toro

Team Cigar Review: Florida Sun Grown Limited Edition Trunk-Pressed Toro

The Florida Sun Grown Limited Edition Trunk-Pressed Toro was a well executed Connecticut Broadleaf wrapped cigar. The medium plus body and strength formula worked well with the darker flavors of cocoa, minerals, baking spices and a very unique terroir mustiness/barnyard. I would definitely recommend this.

Team Cigar Review: Corona Cigar Nicaraguan 20th Anniversary FSG Corona Gordo

Team Cigar Review: Corona Cigar Nicaraguan 20th Anniversary FSG Corona Gordo

At times I would describe the profile as an amp'd up Connecticut Shade, but throughout the experience was complex and enjoyable. I would happily smoke more of the Corona Cigar Nicaraguan 20th Anniversary FSG Corona Gordo and I think it is a great example of a celebratory cigar release done well.

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate FSG Toro

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate FSG Toro

The flavor profile is quite interesting with the wood notes and heavy earthiness along with the unique citrus note. Construction was excellent and this cigar just poured out smoke. The FSG tobacco project is very interesting and with smoking this cigar, and other vitolas, has me very interested in trying some of the other brands/lines that use this tobacco.
