Estelí, Nicaragua (Aug 3, 2016) – Nomad Cigar Company is pleased to release several new blends for 2016. These blends were announced and released at IPCPR 2016 (July 25th).
Long since wanting to pay tribute to his home state of Wisconsin, Fred Rewey came full circle creating a Candela honoring his beloved Green Bay Packers.
But creating a quality Candela was no easy feat.
“Frankly, Candela is not the easiest of tobaccos to work with. For me, it is a constant fight to go against what Candela brings to the table. Finding a balance against the grassy tones is, to say the least, challenging. This project took a lot longer than I ever thought it would, but was well worth the wait,” said Fred Rewey, founder of Nomad Cigar Company.
