Cigar News: IPCPR Launches CigarAction.Org to Engage the Cigar Community

Today, IPCPR, the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association, launched a brand new grassroots website, cigaraction.org. This site will be a great resource not just for retailers, but for the broader public to get involved with public policy issues that affect premium cigars. They are simultaneously launching their first grassroots campaign urging Congress to support a premium cigar exemption provision in the annual spending bill. Over time, this site will serve as the epicenter of IPCPR’s grassroots engagement with the cigar community for multiple federal and state initiatives.

This is an exciting new initiative for IPCPR and they hope to spread the word through the premium cigar media and community about this new site and campaign. To help amplify their efforts and make it an effective campaign, they have also provided a host of content for media members and the public at large on their social media toolbox for use as well: www.cigaraction.org/socmed.

“We think this is a great opportunity for the premium cigar community and hope to spread the word as much as possible.” stated Daniel Trope, Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs.
