AUSTIN, Texas – Special launch events are planned for the opening of a new “ground-up” Casa de Montecristo premium cigar lounge here in Austin. The lounge is now open.

Events take place June 16 and 17 at the new Case de Montecristo lounge on 3801 N. Capitol of Texas Highway, which is located in the Davenport Village area. Events include music by a local DJ, product tasting, raffles and premium goodie bags.  Special VIP celebrities also will be on hand.

“The Montecristo lounge is a perfect fit for Austin and its vibrant, cutting edge reputation for nightlife, music, business and more,” says Steve Lochan, chief executive officer.  Casa de Montecristo also has four cigar lounges in Houston (Casa de Montecristo by Serious Cigar) and one in Dallas.

A decade in the making, the Casa de Montecristo program opened its first Casa de Montecristo location in 2008. The program includes company-owned stores and licensed-based partnerships with some of the top established premium cigar retailers in the country.
