Team Cigar Review: My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Años Limited Edition Corona Especial

Finally, a limited edition cigar that smokes like a limited edition cigar should smoke. What a fantastic cigar. Balanced and beautiful. Great draw and burn. Best cigar I have smoked in 2022. I could go on and on about this My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Años Limited Edition Corona Especial. Great size. The creaminess with the pepper, leather and earth. Amazing! Well done!

Team Cigar Review: Black Works Studio Intergalactic Corona Larga

Team Cigar Review: Black Works Studio Intergalactic Corona Larga

This is Black Works Studio to the T. Bold flavors and strength to match. But what it (thankfully) isn't is harsh and rustic. The profile has plenty of rustic notes, but also does a great job of delivering enough softer tones to make it a well blended ass kicker. Not many profiles in the industry are like this so this Black Works Studio Intergalactic Corona Larga is a winner in my book.

Team Cigar Review: Oscar Valladares Super Fly Connecticut

Team Cigar Review: Oscar Valladares Super Fly Connecticut Corona

I liked the Oscar Valladares Super Fly Connecticut. This is a great Honduran Connecticut wrapper. I thought the cigar was released in a great size and it delivered a solid flavor profile with transitioning taking place throughout. It had a nice body and strength level, construction was great, and priced really well. I would definitely come back to these and recommend them to many.

Personal Cigar Review: Micallef Migdalia Corona Extra

Personal Cigar Review: Micallef Migdalia Corona Extra

The Micallef Migdalia Corona Extra started with a simple but nice flavor profile, but once it reached the second third it was fairly average and continued that way throughout. I liked how this cigar started, but it's probably not something I'll be in a hurry to revisit, but I'm still interested in smoking through their various lines.

Team Cigar Review: Chogüí Papa Chogüí Corona Extra

Team Cigar Review: Chogüí Papa Chogüí Corona Extra

The cigar took off well within the first third and I enjoyed the plum-like stone fruits quite a bit. But that flavor alone cannot make up for the re-light and last third's hot burn. I'd like to sit on some of these cigars and revisit down the road in the hopes of the profile closer matching the first third's flavors.

Team Cigar Review: Herrera Esteli Miami Corona Extra

Team Cigar Review: Herrera Esteli Miami Corona Extra

I really liked the small transitions that the cigar started with. At the midway point, the flavors became more linear. This is another nice addition to the Herrera Esteli line and one I would gladly revisit in the future.

Team Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Company Bishops Blend Corona Larga

Team Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Company Bishops Blend Corona Larga

Based on the chocolate note alone, the cigar is good and is worth anyone's time. The earthiness and spice levels did nicely round out the profile but didn't fully capture the moment. Even with all that said, I'd smoke the cigar again just to taste the wonderful chocolate notes.

Personal Cigar Review: AJ Fernandez Last Call

Personal Cigar Review: AJ Fernandez Last Call

A technically great performing cigar with some good complexity build ups and transitions (minus the last third). But given the 100 minutes of smoking time for this "last call," I will light this one up during half time.

Team Cigar Review: Hoyo de Monterrey 2015 Habanos Añejados

Team Cigar Review: Hoyo de Monterrey 2015 Habanos Añejados

The flavors were all pretty mellow, but mixed well. This would easily be approachable for any level of smoker. If you have any of these or come across them, I would recommend smoking them now as I'm not sure age will do much to help. I would say worth a try though.
