The La Aurora Family Creed Series Perseverancia Box-Pressed Robusto is a good little cigar, and I don’t think I would have this blend in another vitola. The cigar would either lose its qualities with a larger ring gauge and/or be too much for me to even smoke. Great flavors of rich earth, leather, warm spices and pepper.
I enjoyed this La Aurora Family Creed Series Fuerte Sol Robusto and loved how the cigar progressed throughout. Once it got going, it delivered a profile to my liking. Flavors, strength and body. This is a strong cigar with dark flavors. It is balanced and elegant, but it is strong. The cigar had a long finish and beautiful construction throughout. I believe this cigar will age well, and I am curious to see how it smokes in 18 to 24 months.
I enjoyed the La Aurora 120th Anniversary Churchill, and I thought it was a solid blend, but I was hoping for more complexity, depth and transitioning. Nice core flavor profile, really nice, but it needed more to pop and really celebrate 120 years. Cigar seemed young as well.
I felt this was a more modern Cameroon release from La Aurora and the Dominican Republic. Yes, it is using an Ecuadorian Cameroon wrapper and not an authentic African Cameroon, but the cigar has more strength, body and darker flavors than a lot of past Cameroon releases from the company. The almond, cream, currant and Chinese spice notes were great together.
The La Aurora 107 Nicaragua Robusto is a perfectly constructed cigar that is balanced in terms of strength and body while delivering complex flavors throughout. It is a great Nicaraguan puro for the company and one of the better Nicaraguan puros this year.
The La Aurora TAA Exclusivo represents the type of quality that all TAA cigars should deliver. A complex assortment of flavors, with each third delivering a consistently good experience, with construction to match. I would happily smoke more of these at the earliest opportunity.

I was very pleased with the La Aurora 115th Anniversary Regular Production Robusto. It may not show a lot of transitioning between each third, but the flavor profile delivered and balance was very enjoyable. There is some depth and complexity to the cigar and the combination of cinnamon and lemon was fantastic. A solid cigar that I will enjoy in the future.
The La Aurora 1985 Maduro Robusto was a great cigar that delivered on so many levels. There is a lot to be impressed with in this cigar, and another great quality is how well it shows that La Aurora knows how to work with so many different types of tobacco in so many blends.
