From the second I lit up this Dapper La Madrina Shade Belicoso, I knew it was going to do extremely well. This is my cup of tea. It was balanced from start to finish with great flavors. This is a blend that speaks to smokers like myself. Pricing is fantastic, and so is packaging. I would buy these to smoke and age, and I would recommend them to anyone.
The Dapper Desvalido Lonsdale is a good cigar and I believe with a little bit more age it will be very good. The complexity, depth and transitioning present in the blend was great. I loved the strength and body that was delivered, and the construction was top notch as well. Dapper Cigar Co. is a brand that to me continues to deliver quality blends and really enjoyable cigars. Well done!
Dapper Siempre Rosado Corona (5 5/8 x 46) will be available in 20 count boxes and features a dark Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder from the Jalapa valley and fillers from the U.S. and Nicaragua.
The Dapper Siempre Sun Grown Toro is a nice addition to the Dapper portfolio and a cigar that I could see doing very well. It would also be a good introduction to the brand for those who haven't had a chance to smoke anything from them yet. If you like wood forward profiles and some obvious transitioning, then this is a cigar to check out. I would gladly smoke more of these in the future.
I was thoroughly impressed with the Dapper El Borracho Maduro Edmundo from start to finish and totally surprised. It really delivered a great Broadleaf flavor and at the same time was not full in strength and body. On top of that, the cigar was constructed beautifully.
The El Borracho Maduro stands on the shoulders of the original El Borracho San Andrés release. Using the original blend as a base, we've amp'd up the cigar's strength by adding slightly more Nicaraguan Ligero from Oliva Tobacco's prized La Joya farm and switched the wrapper with a lush U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf. In the Dapper La Madrina Natural Toro, the wood and musty notes were pretty consistent throughout, there just wasn't anything that gave it any pop. It is great to see another very well constructed cigar, but I'm looking for a more interesting flavor profile to keep me coming back.
The Dapper El Borracho Natural Toro was a good introduction to the brand for me. This one has me looking forward to the other lines the company offers. Strength was a bit above medium, so most smokers should be fine with it. I could see this cigar pairing well with a peated whisky. The cigar is well worth a try to see if you find a new brand that can earn some room in your humidor.
