Personal Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra De Saka #NLMTHA

Personal Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra De Saka #NLMTHA

The price point on the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra De Saka #NLMTHA is quite high, and would likely keep me from returning to this all that often. This version of the MdS is about on par with the others I have smoked. Lancero fans should give this a shot to see what they think.

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Red Meat Lovers 2020

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Red Meat Lovers 2020

I was pleased with this Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Red Meat Lovers 2020 and thought it showed depth and transitioning. This was a complex blend that showcased and benefitted from the tobaccos being used, wrapper to filler. This might be one my favorite Saka blends to come out of NACSA.

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sobremesa Brûlée Blue

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sobremesa Brûlée Blue

The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sobremesa Brûlée Blue is a good cigar that has amazing construction and great flavors. The cigar is complex and balanced and it keeps that solid medium body and strength profile from beginning to end. It is much better than the original Brûlée release and the vitola offering is better as well.

Team Cigar Review: Dondurma

Team Cigar Review: Dondurma

Overall, the Dondurma had a smooth delivery of flavors that are a bit of a deviation from the typical heavier and more rustic Saka blends. I would definitely smoke this again, but the near $16 price point is a bit steep. But nonetheless, a good cigar.

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Polpetta

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Polpetta

A wolf in sheep's clothing. The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Polpetta, a fairly unassuming 4x48, but once you get to smoking it, the heavy handed strength, chewy and viscous body lets you quickly know it means business. But it's not just full body and strength without good flavors. I think it's worth going to the events to seek out a few of these.

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sobremesa Brûlée Toro

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sobremesa Brûlée Toro

The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sobremesa Brûlée Toro has fantastic burn and construction, but overall, I found the flavor profile to be average. Unfortunately, this particular space is pretty well established and I didn't find that the Brûlée did enough to make it stand out from the crowd.

Team Cigar Review: Red Meat Lovers

Team Cigar Review: Red Meat Lovers

For fans of Saka's style Connecticut broadleaf, the Red Meat Lovers will certainly not disappoint and many will be happy to find familiarity. This isn't Saka's most complex cigar, but I find it to be what Connecticut Broadleaf wrapped cigars should taste like giving milk chocolate, dry red pepper spice, pencil lead minerality and creamed sweetness.

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sin Compromiso Selección No. 5 Parejo

I enjoyed the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Sin Compromiso Selección No. 5 Parejo. I was not blown away by it, or think it was spectacular, but I enjoyed it. While it did show transitioning from start to finish, it was not the transitioning I was hoping for in the cigar. If it delivered what it had in the first third, much different story on the cigar.
