Padron Series 3000 Natural

Personal Cigar Review: Padron Series 3000 Natural

The Padron Series 3000 Natural had a nice start with the bold combination of peppers and dark roast coffee. It took a step down in the second third as the crushed red pepper was gone and the earth built up. It remained at that level for the remainder of the cigar. With this being a lower cost offering into the Padron portfolio, it's an easy try, but this isn't really a cigar I'd see coming back to with much frequency.

Sarzedas Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Sarzedas Robusto

In order for a sweet tip cigar to work for my palate, it needs to be subtly integrated into the profile. For this Sarzedas Robusto, it wasn't. The synthetic sweet tipped vanilla and creme brûlée combination was too palate dominant to the more traditional cigar flavors of cedar wood, leather, dirt and nuts. The integration didn't work and it tastes like having two distinct profiles. Easy pass for me.

La Flor Dominicana Double Claro No. 50

Personal Cigar Review: La Flor Dominicana Double Claro No. 50

The La Flor Dominicana Double Claro No. 50 had a nice start, with hay, in all its iterations, actually enhancing the profile. It took a step down in the second third as the earth increased, and remained that way for the rest of the cigar. While I wouldn't put in the small group of top tier candelas on the market, it is better than most. I'd be open to trying this in another vitola to see how it compares.

Tatuaje Series P Honduras Short Toro

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje Series P Honduras Short Toro

The Tatuaje Series P Honduras Short Toro was a good cigar. It was a blend I would come back to in the future, and it is a cigar I would smoke regularly. It had a wonderful core flavor profile that was complex from start to finish. The strength and body worked well with the flavors, and it delivered an easy smoking experience that was very enjoyable. I could smoke all the time while at the beach, and light one up in the morning or evening.

Trinidad x Tommy Bahama Island Collection Breeze

Team Cigar Review: Trinidad x Tommy Bahama Island Collection Breeze

In the end, this Trinidad x Tommy Bahama Island Collection Breeze is a cigar that succeeds by knowing its lane. It doesn’t aim for boldness or strength, but instead offers a relaxed, consistent profile that feels well-suited to casual settings or moments when a more demanding cigar would feel out of place. While it doesn’t quite sustain the interest needed to push beyond a Good rating overall, it remains an enjoyable, easygoing smoke that delivers exactly what it sets out to be.

Broncano Classic Rubi Toro

Team Cigar Review: Broncano Classic Rubi Toro

The Broncano Classic Rubi Toro had a nice start within the first third but quickly became either too tinny or too bitter by the final two thirds. It's not a terrible flavor profile by any means but nothing that engaged me for wanting more and more draws. Overall a pass for me.

Black Label Trading Co. Deliverance Nocturne Toro

Team Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Co. Deliverance Nocturne Toro

Rich and bold in flavors that is most fitting for after a heavier meal or cigar #2 or #3 of the day. The boldness and deliciousness of the earthy spice and wood notes mixed with the creamy and sweet coffee notes really hit the spot. Would absolutely smoke this Black Label Trading Co. Deliverance Nocturne Toro again.

Cohiba Rubicon Box-Pressed Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Cohiba Rubicon Box-Pressed Robusto

In the end, this Cohiba Rubicon Box-Pressed Robusto is a cigar that starts stronger than it finishes. It delivers enough early balance and flavor clarity to avoid falling below an Average rating, but the gradual loss of nuance and increasing dominance of earth prevent it from climbing higher. It’s a competent, every day type of smoke that will appeal to those who enjoy earth-forward profiles, though it may leave others wanting a bit more evolution and refinement by the time the cigar comes to an end.

Patina Red Pill 5x54 BP

Team Cigar Review: Patina Red Pill 5×54 BP

This Patina Red Pill 5x54 BP is a proper rustic cigar type experience. The combination of earthy minerals and spice paired with the chocolate notes were outstanding and made me want to go back for more and more. No doubt I'll gladly have some of these in my humidor.
