The Tabak Especial Negra Lonsdale was really quite basic and I didn't get much more than a light creamy coffee in the first half to really make me think this was part of the Tabak line. I'm not sure if the infusion was light on this sample or just very light on this vitola, but it just didn't hit me the way past Tabak's have.
The Tabak Especial Dulce Gordito was enjoyable, with the first third exhibiting most of the complexities of the non-traditional coffee and cream flavors. The second and last third exhibited more of the traits of a traditional Connecticut Shade blend. The Gordito is going to be a good choice for someone looking for a significantly longer smoking time.
The Tabak Especial Lonsdale is available in both Dulce and Negra, packaged in 10 count boxes with an MSRP of $85.10 per box and are shipping in July.
