Team Cigar Review: Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edición Limitada

The Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edición Limitada was really good through the first half inch as the combination of flavors really fired on all cylinders. After that, things began to degrade as the earth played a bigger role and was average the rest of the way. Overall, I don't see this rendition of the line attracting me more than the regular V's.

Team Cigar Review: Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Figurado 2020

Overall, the Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Figurado 2020 is a good cigar. It is a nice Oliva and a solid Mexican San Andres offering. I don't think I would go crazy over the release, and I know Oliva has released better annual offerings, but a good cigar. Nice balance and flavors throughout.

Team Cigar Review: Oliva Gilberto Reserva Blanc Corona

I can't believe the Oliva Gilberto Reserva Blanc Corona is sub $6. The cigar easily smokes like twice that amount. I'd pin point this to the more traditional side of Connecticut Shade due to the dominantly creamy, sweet, nutty aspects. That, followed up with emphasized minerals, cedar and tannins all points to a Connecticut Shade done right. Best value cigar no doubt.

Team Cigar Review: Oliva Gilberto Reserva Corona

The Oliva Gilberto Reserva Corona smokes more like a $7 to $8 dollar cigar as the overall bouquet of flavors doesn't merit a cheap cigar at all. The flavor in itself isn't all that complex but it is enjoyable. For these reasons, I would revisit and many fans of "yard gars" will find this pleasing.

Team Cigar Review: Nub Cameroon 460

The Nub Cameroon 460 is a nice cigar to smoke at any time and they are pretty rugged if you're smoking while doing other things. While I wouldn't identify this as a go to cigar for me, it's one I keep coming back to on occasion and would suggest you try it out if you haven't done so already.
