Personal Cigar Review: La Galera Imperial Jade Churchill

Personal Cigar Review: La Galera Imperial Jade Churchill

The La Galera Imperial Jade Churchill had an interesting trajectory as the first third saw all of the flavor components arrive at different times, the second third showed them off working together and then the final third saw a build up of toast and bitterness. Overall, I don't see this as something I'd come back to, but I might be interested in checking out a different vitola as the line has an attractive price point.

Team Cigar Review: La Galera 85th Anniversary Jose Manuel Blanco

The La Galera 85th Anniversary Jose Manuel Blanco had a nice start, but dropped to average as the creaminess departed and the profile became a bit dry. Team Cigar Review: La Galera 85th Anniversary Jose “Jochy” Blanco

This La Galera 85th Anniversary Jose “Jochy” Blanco was a well blended cigar showing quite possibly the best balanced profile so far this year. A great array of soft/white notes centered around nuts, toast, sweet pastry creaminess, with nuanced cedar and red/black pepper spice. Not crazy about the price point, but it is what it is. I'll for sure put these through my rotation.
