Team Cigar Review: Maya Selva Flor de Selva Maduro Grand Pressé
An overall good representation of a maduro cigar, providing namely great notes of cocoa, wood and tame spice.

This is a good cigar with favorable flavors, balance and substance. These, coupled by great construction, makes me believe the company is on its way to a good start.
Meier & Dutch is pleased to announce a limited edition line of luxury cigars and cigar accessories, inspired by the hit FOX television program, EMPIRE, with a strong focus on the show’s charismatic lead, Lucious Lyon.
The way the cigar began, I would have said it would have been a great beginners cigar with the flavor profile and low strength level, but as the complexity, body and strength picked up the rest of the way, it might scare a beginner away from the rest of the smoke and would be more inline with a more seasoned smoker.
A dessert cigar patched in luxurious gold. Makes complete sense why this cigar was originally geared towards the European market. A cigar that’s all about flavor with no strength (for U.S. standards).
I enjoyed this cigar. The flavors it presented were interesting and kept me engaged. The volume of smoke was good even though I didn't have the draw control I prefer. For it being a pre-release, I hope the final product stays at this level or becomes better with the increased time that these cigars will have.
