JRE Aladino Limited Edition

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Limited Edition

This JRE Aladino Limited Edition really has a lot going for it. I think if you changed the band and didn't tell consumers this was Honduran it would do even better. I'm serious. Great flavors with complexity and depth. Balanced throughout. Some transitioning, but it is not needed with the blend. Beautiful construction as well. Loved the growth on this cigar. I guarantee this will age well.

JRE Aladino Classic Elegante

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Classic Elegante

This JRE Aladino Classic Elegante is a well blended cigar, showcasing full flavors and balance. The major components of a good cigar are all here (sweet, spice, earth). You can really taste the quality of the wrapper tobacco and I think this is a great example of letting the good tobacco speak for itself. A must try.

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Candela Robusto

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Candela Robusto

This JRE Aladino Candela Robusto was an average candela. Price is nice, but it's an average candela. If it had some earthiness with the candela profile, it would have been better. A prettier wrapper would have helped the cigar as well. Nice lemon curd profile in the first two thirds. When it was paired with the cedar, lemongrass and white pepper notes, it was great. Just needed something more.

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Classic Corona

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Classic Corona

The JRE Aladino Classic Corona offered balanced and interesting flavors that at times were up to medium-full strength but remained balanced through the majority of the cigar review. I would definitely smoke the JRE Aladino Classic Corona, especially when you factor in the approachable price point.

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Habano Vintage Selection Elegante

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Habano Vintage Selection Elegante

It is incredible what a different vitola can do for a cigar. Well, it is incredible what a ring gauge can do for a cigar. This is a blend that excels with a smaller ring gauge and stronger wrapper presence. The JRE Aladino Habano Vintage Selection Elegante was balanced throughout, but it had depth and complexity. Great burn and draw as well.

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Corojo Reserva Figurado

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Corojo Reserva Figurado

I really enjoyed the JRE Aladino Corojo Reserva Figurado. It is a great blend that produces lovely flavors from beginning to end. Wonderful balance and nice strength and body. For those of you who hate large ring gauges, you will not mind the larger ring gauge with the Toro or the Figurado. It is a line, that when it's in the right vitola, produces an amazing Honduran puro.

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Cameroon Elegante

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Cameroon Elegante

The JRE Aladino Cameroon Elegante was a good cigar throughout, with perfect burn and construction. The natural comparison will be with the Lonsdale release last year, and while the Elegante was enjoyable, it did lack the layers of complexity that the Lonsdale release delivered.

Personal Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Maduro Corona

Personal Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Maduro Corona

The JRE Aladino Maduro Corona started with an average profile and remained that way until the final third when the heavy char knocked things down some. If you're a fan of charred wood and heavy black pepper, you'll find something you like here. I just felt it was too much and didn't provide an enjoyable version of those components.

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Habano Vintage Selection Rothschild

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Habano Vintage Selection Rothschild

This was a tasty little cigar. Well balanced and full of flavors, never letting off the gas pedal from first draw to last. Minerals, baking spices, roasted chestnuts, milk creaminess and white pepper spice. Nothing to dislike about that flavor combination. I thoroughly enjoyed the JRE Aladino Habano Vintage Selection Rothschild and it's an easy recommend.

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Cameroon Lonsdale

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Cameroon Lonsdale

The JRE Aladino Cameroon Lonsdale has to be one of the best cigars I've smoked and reviewed during 2020. The first third is a harmonized and complex list of flavors that kept my palate highly engaged. The rest of the cigar wasn't as complex, but still good with enjoyable flavor combinations. Burn and construction were great on the cigar, no doubt elevating the smoking experience.
