At this point in time, i.e. smoking the cigar for review about 3 months after release, the cigar is average tasting. Interestingly enough, I smoked this cigar at a local cigar shop about 2.5 months ago and the cigar was much more enjoyable. It has the overall Tatuaje ID of great body and heavier and bolder flavors, but it's not packaged well yet. I know it will get better with some time.
The Tatuaje Cojonú 2015 was another dependable and enjoyable release. The spice level was much more subdued than many other Habano blends I've smoked over the years, and there was enough interesting combination of flavors that kept me engaged through almost the entire review. I would definitely pick up another Cojonú 2015 if I was out, but I can also say that about most Tatuaje releases.
The Tatuaje Havana VI Verocú Blue No. 1 was enjoyable and at times reminded me of baked goods for Christmas time which definitely held my interest. The last third was a stark departure from the rest of the cigar with darker, toasted earth flavors that didn't harmonize with what was being delivered prior to that. I would smoke the Tatuaje Havana VI Verocú Blue No. 1 again, the flavor profile is balanced and right in my wheelhouse.
I found the Tatuaje Avion Tuxtla to be the most enjoyable of the Tuxtla offerings. With that, a really good Mexican offering overall. Brought me back to all the past Avions I have smoked, which was enjoyable as well. A good experience. Balanced cigar with great construction and draw. Enjoyable flavor profile. Nice notes of cocoa, espresso, earth and leather.
In my opinion, in true, fairly typical fashion, Pete nails the body. There aren't that many good cigars with medium plus body these days, but Pete seems to know how to achieve that and pair it with flavors that compliment it quite well. Even with this said, I still prefer the Habano versions of the Brown Label. But this Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla was neat to smoke for a little change up.
The first third was awesome, as it's in many ways what I look for and enjoy from a quality Connecticut Broadleaf cigar; nice dankness, barnyard, chocolate, supporting pepper spice. But past the first third, the bitter bite of cedar wood became too overwhelming on the other flavors, leaving the flavor profile more narrow and not as pleasant. So overall, I will pass on this Tatuaje La Riqueza SE 2022.
The Tatuaje T110 Tuxtla came out of the gate swinging with some interesting and fuller flavor combinations that kept me on my toes. That complexity seemed to fall off rapidly moving into the second third, eventually becoming linear and flat in the last third with earth being the only standout flavor component. The price point on these is quite reasonable and the time commitment is approachable so I would give the T110 Tuxtla another try to see if the profile was the same or improved.

Sometimes you don't need to write three paragraphs of flavor descriptions, and such is the case with the Tatuaje Cohete Capa Especial. Delivering interesting and engaging flavors through the first and second thirds, it was pleasant through the last third but without the same level of flavor balance. I'll happily pick more of these up.
This Tatuaje Cohete Reserva was a great little blast of Broadleaf. Shots of espresso with cojones. I loved the size and flavor profile from start to finish. It had strength, body and flavors. Complex flavors. Very enjoyable with amazing burn and construction. The espresso, oak, leather, earth, pepper and cocoa powder notes were great together. They often are, and Pete delivered on that dark Broadleaf profile.
