Personal Cigar Review: Kristoff Guardrail Robusto

Personal Cigar Review: Kristoff Guardrail Robusto

The Kristoff Guardrail Robusto started well, with an interesting combination of flavors. From the second third on, it dropped a level as the earth was a primary player and the supporting notes fell back. This was an interesting cigar to smoke with the Zimbabwe tobacco, but I'm not sure that I can pinpoint any specific influence it had on the blend. Interesting to try, but not something I'd really see myself coming back to.

Team Cigar Review: Kristoff 685 Woodlawn Box Pressed Toro TAA 2021

The Kristoff 685 Woodlawn Box Pressed Toro TAA 2021 certainly brings its A game for presentation and a fairly good flavor profile through the first two thirds. I would happily smoke another Kristoff 685 Woodlawn Box Pressed Toro TAA 2021, and if you enjoyed the flavor notes, I'd recommend seeking them out.

Team Cigar Review: Kristoff San Andres Box-Pressed Toro TAA 2020

The Kristoff San Andres Box-Pressed Toro TAA 2020 was quite interesting as it moved around quite a bit with a wide combination of flavors. The price point is fairly attractive and I could see myself coming back to this from time to time.

Team Cigar Review: Kristoff Shade Grown Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Kristoff Shade Grown Robusto

A good and consistent cigar. I enjoyed the notes of sweet buttered bread, hay, dried nuts and baking spices, all wrapped up in a medium body and strength formula. With a smoking time of near two hours and a very attractive price point of ~$8, the Kristoff Shade Grown Robusto will no doubt be in the rotation of Connecticut shade offerings that I enjoy.

Team Cigar Review: Kristoff JT Signature Series

Team Cigar Review: Kristoff JT Signature Series

The Kristoff JT Signature Series was a good smoking experience. Significant amount of flavor complexity through the first and second third, and average smoking experience in the last third. Strength and flavor intensity were both medium-full, so this cigar will very much appeal to the fuller bodied cigar smokers.

Team Cigar Review: Kristoff Vengeance Toro

Team Cigar Review: Kristoff Vengeance Toro

The Kristoff Vengeance Toro had a good start but became pedestrian from the second third on. I'd like to try this in a smaller ring gauge to see what that would do to the profile. The good first third isn't enough to keep me coming back to this cigar and it probably isn't something I'd be in a hurry to revisit.
