The Casa Cuevas Cuevas Reserva Natural Toro is a beautiful Connecticut that delivered complex flavors with depth from start to finish. There was transitioning and each third was unique. The balance between flavors, body and strength was great and the construction and draw were spot on.
The Mandarria is a full-bodied cigar that is offered in only one vitola. The 6X52 Toro was chosen as Master Blender Luis Cuevas Sr. felt this vitola was a perfect balance between its strength, which is a representation of the “Mandarria” name, and the cigar’s nuanced flavors.

Casa Cuevas Cigars, announces that the limited edition “La Mandarria” cigar brand is now shipping to retailers. The La Mandarria brand was born out of the unfortunate robbery which occurred in February 2019 at the Casa Cuevas Cigars distribution center in Miami.

The Casa Cuevas Connecticut Toro is Connecticut Shade done right. Start with a nice core of sweetened cream, bread, roasted nuts and gradually introduce spice into the profile. This is no doubt my favorite line within Casa Cuevas' offerings. I highly recommend this cigar.
The Casa Cuevas Maduro Clásico Prensado is an enjoyable cigar with flavors of cocoa, leather, red pepper flake, pepper, sweetness and earth. Burn performance is very good, with a bit of a tight draw. Strength peaked just over medium at times, but was approachable throughout the smoking experience.
