The Sacra Folium Golden Ratio Robusto is the fifth and final cigar in the series that I've reviewed. I feel like this cigar was at about the same quality level of all of the others which is right around average. It's worth a shot to try one if you're a Connecticut fan, but for me, it's probably not something I'm going to revisit.
The Sacra Folium Radix was creamy, sweet, earthy and just flat out good. The strength never remotely approached full. This is one to grab a few to try.
This being the fourth blend reviewed, this is my favorite tasting cigar in the Sacra Folium portfolio. The richness in roasted nuttiness with a hint of creamed sweetness mixed with black coffee was consistent and tasty.
The cigar started with a nice mix of flavors and transitions but soon settled into a standard creamy cedar profile. The strength was medium plus the whole way, so more experienced smokers would probably be more comfortable with this.
This is a good cigar with favorable flavors, balance and substance. These, coupled by great construction, makes me believe the company is on its way to a good start.
The way the cigar began, I would have said it would have been a great beginners cigar with the flavor profile and low strength level, but as the complexity, body and strength picked up the rest of the way, it might scare a beginner away from the rest of the smoke and would be more inline with a more seasoned smoker.
