In 2020, there will be only one batch of 1,600 boxes of Número Uno coming to the United States: 800 boxes of the original L’Ambassadeur and now in its first national release, 800 boxes of Le Premier. These very limited batches will be available as of July 2020 exclusively for brick and mortar retailers that participate in the Drew Diplomat Retailer Program.

The Joya de Nicaragua Número Uno L'Ambassadeur is simply fantastic. It is a tremendous Connecticut release and is complex from beginning to end. There is great transitioning taking place and it is always balanced. Releasing this cigar for the general cigar smoking world was a brilliant move by the company and I know I will turn to it quite frequently as my cigar of choice.

This blend comes in only one vitola, L’Ambassadeur, a parejo 6 5/8 x 44 tailed lonsdale. In the United States, it will be available only at DDRP brick and mortar stores, in 25 count boxes, with an MSRP of $15.00 per stick. Número Uno uses a silky and delicate Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.
