Personal Cigar Review: Odyssey Maduro Robusto

The Odyssey Maduro Robusto started out fairly average, but once the char joined in the second third and continually increased, it knocked down the enjoyment a level the rest of the way. The cigar isn't going to win any value awards, but for a bundle cigar it works. If you smoke while doing other things and aren't focusing too much on the cigar, I don't see any reason why this wouldn't fit the bill.

This is another standard and typical offering from General Cigar. It's nothing to rave about nor be disappointed about. The flavor by itself was average to good, but the paper note did not meld well with the other notes.

Overall, the flavor profile was too subtle and did not meld well. Not that price factors into our scoring system, but given its high price tag of $22 MSRP, I expect a fantastic cigar. This one did not quite live up to it with its subtleties.
