The Villiger Do Brasil Maduro Robusto showcases some of the best qualities of Brazilian tobacco. Flavors ranged from sweetness, cedar, creaminess, plum, fig, leather and earth. The strength of the cigar seemed to settle around the medium mark. I would light up another Do Brasil Maduro again, as I enjoyed the smoking experience.
The experience of the Villiger Do Brasil Claro Robusto went like this. First two thirds, wow, I am impressed by what Brazilian Connecticut shade can do. The final third, more average. This is a cigar that is packed with full flavors without much strength. I can see myself enjoying a couple as my starter cigar for the day.
Villiger do Brasil is a Brazilian puro which features two blends, Claro and Maduro, created to celebrate Villiger’s century long history with Brazilian tobacco. Villiger’s new factory in Bahia, Brazil also named “Villiger do Brasil” (Villiger of Brazil, translated from Portuguese) opened its doors in 2018.
