Antaño Gran Reserva GT20 is a box-pressed Gran Toro (6x52), that comes in a 20-count box, with an MSRP of $9.50/cigar. It will be available for all Drew Estate customers in the United States as of August 2021.
This blend comes in only one vitola, a 6 x 50 toro. Exclusive for the United States, it will be available in 6 count triangular packs, with an MSRP of $8.95 per stick. Each vertex of the triangular pack represents the core of Drew Estate, Joya de Nicaragua and the Dojo.
A fantastic cigar, the Joya de Nicaragua Número Uno Le Premier is made for connoisseurs and yet approachable to novices. The more time you take in focusing on the flavors delivered, the more you will pickup, but if you simply want to smoke a quality cigar and not focus on flavors, this will be perfect and still show quality notes. One of the best, if not best cigars I have smoked and reviewed this year.
Commemorating the resiliency of Joya de Nicaragua thirty five years ago, the company is proud to introduce Cinco Décadas El Embargo, a Limited Edition 6 x 60 box-pressed gigante, with only 500 boxes of 10 cigars produced. Cinco Décadas El Embargo will be available in selected European markets starting this month.
This very special limited batch of just 600 boxes will be sold exclusively in the United States, and only by retailers that belong to the Drew Diplomat Retailer Program. Joya de Nicaragua Cinco Décadas El Doctor will be shipping in August 2020, and will be available along with the 2020 annual batch of 600 boxes of each of the rest of the sizes in the Cinco Décadas series.
In 2020, there will be only one batch of 1,600 boxes of Número Uno coming to the United States: 800 boxes of the original L’Ambassadeur and now in its first national release, 800 boxes of Le Premier. These very limited batches will be available as of July 2020 exclusively for brick and mortar retailers that participate in the Drew Diplomat Retailer Program.
The Joya de Nicaragua JOYA Copper Corona Gorda started fairly average and remained that way the whole time. It's possible that the tight draw muted the flavor a bit, but what was presented were some general flavors that can be found in any number of cigars. The price point is nice for this line and would lead me to being open to trying other vitolas to see how they smoke.
The Joya de Nicaragua Número Uno L'Ambassadeur is simply fantastic. It is a tremendous Connecticut release and is complex from beginning to end. There is great transitioning taking place and it is always balanced. Releasing this cigar for the general cigar smoking world was a brilliant move by the company and I know I will turn to it quite frequently as my cigar of choice.
The Joya de Nicaragua Cinco Decadas Fundador was an enjoyable cigar from start to finish. The flavor profile was well balanced with varied flavor notes of bread, spices, cocoa, citrus, clover, cedar and earth. Each third presented its own take on the flavor combination which kept my interest the entire time.
Joya Copper is made using Nicaragua’s best tobacco, and each stick captures the soul of our blenders and “torcedores”, delivering a fully robust and spiced character profile that will transport modern cigar smokers to the world of bold smokers.
