Team Cigar Review: Armando Artamendi Cabinet Selection Sun Grown Robusto Extra

This Armando Artamendi Cabinet Selection Sun Grown Robusto Extra had a nice profile through the first two thirds and then took a step down in the final third as the earth and toast increased. This profile shows what Santana is known for with good flavor delivery in a low to medium strength profile. I just wish it made it through the entire cigar. I would come back to this cigar and I'd also be interested in trying it in the 60 ring gauge offering to see how that performs as well.

Team Cigar Review: Flor de D’Crossier Seleccion Escogida Lumina Corona Gorda

It's been a minute with Flor de D’Crossier, but this Flor de D’Crossier Seleccion Escogida Lumina Corona Gorda was a good stick. Price is fantastic on this balanced blend. The flavors were there as well and a nice level of complexity was delivered. Great vitola as well with awesome construction.

Team Cigar Review: Lords of England Connecticut No. 3 Churchill

The Lords of England Connecticut No. 3 Churchill started with a nice profile but once the sweetness left and dry earth joined in, it knocked the profile down to average the rest of the way. With a profile this linear, I would prefer it in a shorter vitola rather than such a lengthy smoking experience. This vitola isn't something I'd likely return to, but I would be interested in revisiting this in the Robusto to see what the overall profile would be like. Might be interesting paired with some coffee.

Overall, the flavor profile of the Flor de D’Crossier Selection 512 Habano Coloniales was pretty standard and nothing that stood out. The price point on the cigar is great, so it's an easy recommendation to try to see if it fits your profile.

After smoking the Flor de D’Crossier Selección Suprema No. 560 Robusto, my expectations were undoubtedly met. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of toast, nuttiness, cedar and baking spices. I would no doubt smoke this again.

Team Cigar Review: Flor de D’Crossier Selection 512 Maduro Coloniales

Some really nice oak and cinnamon notes through the first two thirds and then a drop in flavor in the final third as the tight draw caught up to the cigar. The Flor de D’Crossier Selection 512 Maduro Coloniales is a great new release for Santana and I'm looking forward to smoking more.

The D’Crossier Golden Blend Robusto had a nuanced and downright delicious tasting profile unfortunately leveled by a poor burn performance. Even factoring that, I did enjoy the flavor profile and will gladly smoke more, even if I have to light it again (and again).
