The cigar began with a fairly potent strength level from the combination of cinnamon and black pepper. That subsided after about a half inch while the toasted wood was the primary player throughout the cigar. Some cream and mustiness joined in to run through the end of the second third and then the profile was just centered around the wood in the final third.

Cornelius & Anthony really has something special going on with their proprietary U.S. binder. The combination of this binder and utilization of La Zona sourced tobaccos brings an added layer of punch that is both unique and tasty in this Señor Esugars. This is definitely one to try especially if you enjoy heavy spice and earth cigars.

The Aerial showed great depths of flavors starting with the familiar La Zona spice kick upfront and good identifiable flavors. A great representation of well rounded and building intensities of flavors. I say give a Connecticut Shade hater an unbanded Aerial and show him/her the bands afterwards to see their surprise.

A tasty and unique profile through and through. The combination of meatiness and rich roasted nuttiness to my surprise worked very well off each other. This paired with just the right amount of balanced spice created a tasting profile well enjoyed and very much worth seeking out more of.

As a cigar, it was not a bad cigar. I think there would be a lot of smokers who enjoy it. If you are looking for a cigar with this type of flavor profile and smoking at a medium-full level in terms of strength and body you will like what is offered.

I especially enjoyed how the black pepper spice was palate layering without overshadowing the other flavors. When I wanted an increase in spice (and intensity of flavors in general), I always had the retrohale on tap.

This was an absolutely delectable cigar that builds throughout the entire smoking experience. For me, this hits the spectrum of the flavor wheel; spice, earth, sweetness and body that worked in great unison.
