I enjoyed the toasted aspects mixed with the sweet bread quite a bit. Not the typical chocolaty and dank iteration of Connecticut Broadleaf, but this is not one to be missed.

Enveloped with Stalk-Cut Connecticut Broadleaf over a binder of Ecuadorian Sumatra, and filled with various priming’s from Colombia, Dominican Republic and Nicaraguan. Finishing off the construction, the head cap is adorned with a pigtail and the foot covered in Dominican Candela, a tease to the consumer about the journey that lies ahead.

Jason Holly will unveil the release of “Ivy” at an exclusive event at Casa de Montecristo in Countryside, IL on Thursday, April 28th. “Ivy” is a project that, although under parent company Viva Republica, will boast a completely different personality - initially Ivy will only be sold in 100 specially selected retail shops.
