Black Label Trading Company is pleased to announce they are shipping Bishops Blend vintage 2018 to select retailers later this month. Bishops Blend is hand crafted in Esteli, Nicaragua at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
This is a very nice re-introduction of the Murcielago and one I would go back to often. This would be a good evening/after dinner cigar based on the full and dark flavors along with the strength. Fans of the previous Murcielago's and those that are Espinosa fans are sure to find another favorite here.
The cigar began with wood and an interesting combination of cinnamon and black pepper. Later on it was focused around creamy oak and some floral and musty notes. I never did experience any of the barrel aged notes that I expected.
The Jacobs Ladder Lancero makes its debut in an exclusive box pressed format known as the TOP RUNG at Casa de Montecristo which coincides with the Texas Cigar Festival. The box pressed lancero in this award winning premium cigar blend is a limited exclusive release and will be available in a number of Casa de Montecristo retail locations.
While I wouldn't call the Montecristo Ciudad de Música Robusto a true collaboration between blenders, it is a collaboration between brands and I would say it worked well. If you're a fan of Crowned Heads or E.P. Carrillo, it's a must try and this should be a good attraction for people to the Montecristo brand. This is a cigar well done.
Crowned Heads will debut the fifth installment of "The Angel's Anvil" series at the upcoming 50th Annual Tobacconists Association of America (TAA) convention and meeting, to be held at Casa de Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic, April 29- May 3.

The price point is fair for this cigar in terms of experience, size and smoking time. If you enjoy cigars on the milder strength side, then this is one definitely worth checking out. Flavors were enjoyable, I would just lean towards a shorter vitola.
CAO is igniting the spirit of Mexico with a new, limited edition release that coincides with the brand’s virtual tour of the Pan American Highway. Called Zócalo, the name for a vibrant and celebratory city square in Mexico, this is first cigar in CAO’s lineup to be made with Mexican tobacco.
The VegaFina Robusto Extra PigTail Añejado 7 Años was a surprising pleasure to smoke. The cigar touched on all major factors of a good cigar: spice, sweetness, creaminess and earthiness, all wrapped up in a flawless burn and draw. Don't sleep on this one.
