This Caldwell Long Live The Queen Queen's Crown is the exact profile of Caldwell cigars that I enjoy. Cigars that are first and foremost undeniably full of flavors. The flavors in themselves meld well with the softer and spikier notes. The stronger strength is not typically there but the strength never took away from the focus of the flavors. Well done.
The Caldwell Blind Man's Bluff Maduro This is Trouble kept me engaged through the first and second thirds with an interesting combination and balance of flavors. The draw and burn were fairly flawless. Based on this review experience I would add this cigar to the list of Caldwell releases I would happily smoke again.
The Caldwell Eastern Standard Sungrown Magic is another consistent and enjoyable cigar. Although there weren't significant flavor changes through each third, the flavors that were presented were balanced and engaging to the palate. I would smoke these again, as this is another Caldwell release that gets moved into my smoking rotation.
The Caldwell Long Live the King MAD MF Corona is a really enjoyable cigar and a great new offering from Caldwell. Very different than the original Long Live the King. You can't go into the cigar looking for similarities to the original. Just a great cigar all around and one I will come back to down the road.
The Caldwell Eastern Standard Habano Robusto is quite a departure from the Caldwell style of cigars that I know. While I can be appreciative of this style of cigar, it's not really my cup of tea. In conclusion, if you ever complained about Caldwell cigars being "too light" or "not enough spice," bitch no more.
This is possibly one of the best Caldwell releases I have had, and the blend smokes well throughout the line. It is a blend that needs some time aging though and I believe it smokes better after being stored at a lower humidity level.
The first two thirds of the cigar was bomb. I couldn't get enough of that sweet creamy bread note. A cigar like this is my kind of pace. I would like to try this cigar in a few months to see how the last thirds youth shakes out.
