S.T. Dupont is delighted to announce the launch of the new Defi XXtreme Artisan Collection. Designed and made in France by the ST Dupont Haute Creation team, the collection is offered in two distinct designs: Casino Poker and Skull with Roses. Each lighter combines Dupont’s iconic Defi XXtreme with a hand engraved case made from solid brass. Limited to only 288 pieces worldwide, each lighter is ultra-exclusive, custom made and highly collectible.

The collection is normally made to order with a 4 month lead time, however Coles of London are pleased to confirm that limited quantities are in stock and available for immediate delivery.

Artisan History
Solyfonte creates unique and exclusive collections for S.T. Dupont’s and this collection is no exception. Since 1985, Solyfonte has been creating art pieces in brass, bronze and silver for the greatest French luxury brands.

Today, Christophe Saint Romain and his team master the ancestral knowledge of the art of molten metal. Their expertise in ancient art mixed with modern technology allows them to push the limits of their creativity every day, their unbridled imagination has no limits.

One of Christophe’s most famous technique is the art of patina. In his studio in central France, he implements the use of acids and other products to create patinas so deep they seem to give life and movement to the sculptural elements of each lighter.

A Custom Experience
Both the Skull & Roses and Casino Poker, are protected by a custom made oversize rugged bumper made from brass with finely sculpted details. The Casino lighter also features engraved card suits hand enameled in red or black.

A Perfect Ergonomic Design
A shock-proof white or yellow bronze bumper featuring a black patina that creates a sculptural effect that accentuates each lighters design. The bumper also protects the lighter and guarantees an excellent grip. The innovative design makes it particularly easy to hold and use. This collection features S.T. Dupont’s inversion safety, which locks the ignition while the lighter is inverted, keeping the lighter from lighting accidentally.
